There is a wealth of information about homesteading on the internet these days. Unfortunately, most of the information is repetitive and simple. I have compiled a list of my top 5 YouTube homesteading channels that I feel excel over the others.
I chose these channels because I feel they are both educational and entertaining. The knowledge I have gained by watching these YouTuber’s has helped me to become a better homesteader in many ways.

My Top 5 YouTube Homesteading Channels
Plant Abundance
This channel is all about Dan’s journey to a more abundant and sustainable future. His videos are produced very frequently and are filled with great educational information. He has a great video on a rain barrel system, as well as an easy and affordable chicken coop made from a trampoline.
My favorite part of Dan’s videos is that he reuses items, loves second-hand materials and tries to keep his projects affordable. Check out Dan’s channel soon. There is plenty to learn there.

This is the most watched gardening show on Youtube. I don’t think there is a topic that involves gardening that this man doesn’t talk about.

This channel covers everything homesteading and then some. Brad explains things in an easy to understand fashion and can be very entertaining. I really think this is one of the most information-packed YouTube homesteading channels on the web.

The number of subscribers to Patara’s channel proves this to be one of the most popular of the YouTube homesteading channels available.

These are 5 of my favorite YouTube homesteading channels that I view on a regular basis. I have tons more that I subscribe to and watch, but that will have to be another post.
