Krystal Slaughter

Hello, I am Krystal! My family grows an over-sized garden, collects way too many chickens (Shhh, that’s probably my fault), and chases goats (way too frequently) over at Three Wondrous Acres Homestead. The blog consists of our failures (and successes!) in the world of homesteading, relaying any and all useful information that we learn in the process. With a bit of not-so-extreme prepping sprinkled in and some odd posts here and there, I guess you could say we’re just another family documenting our progress as we travel the road to self-sufficiency. I promote and support seed hoarding, chicken math, and shameless neighborhood squash drops; you’re in good company, neighbor!

Follow Me!

Hi! I’m Annie

I am a “from-scratch”, old-fashioned, crafty, do-it-yourself country kinda gal, that will save just about any animal and has a vision for an off-grid homestead that provides food on my table, fresh herbs, free range chickens, grass fed beef, all while living a self-reliant life. I enjoy my kitchen the most as it is where I spend most of my time baking homemade bread, canning and cooking for my family and my parents.
